My period is only 3 days late and i cant wait for the urine test, want to do blood test instead. Just wondering how early it actually picks up. Did anyone get a clear result this soon?
Blood test detects much earlier than the kit, roughly a week after ovulation. I did beta hcg twice in 48 hrs so doc could see the number rising. Thats the real confirmation.
My doctor told me blood test (beta hcg) can pick it up around 8-10 days after conception, even before missed period sometimes. Its more sensitive than urine kit. She made me do it to confirm before the scan.
In my IVF the clinic did blood test around day 10-12 after transfer, that beta number meant everything to me. Try not to test too early na, the waiting is hard but early low numbers can scare you for no reason.
Honestly easiest is wait till missed period and just get beta hcg done, result same day mostly. No need to test super early and stress yourself, the number is what matters.
