first time trying and im way too excited. My period isnt due for another week but i keep staring at the test kit. how soon does it actually turn positive after conception? someone pls explain.
It depends on when hcg crosses the detection level, usually around 10 to 14 days after ovulation. I tracked mine and got a faint line just before my period was due. Morning urine gives the earliest clear reading.
Mine was so faint at first I doubted it, did that happen to anyone else? I tested again two days later and it was darker. The early faint line had me anxious for no reason.
Most tests turn positive by the day of your missed period, about two weeks after conception. Some sensitive ones a few days earlier but those can be faint or wrong. For a clear result wait for the missed period.
