Just entered my second month and im so curious about how tiny my baby is right now. I keep imagining it but have no idea what stage it actually is. Can someone tell me how the baby looks or develops in month 2?
I am past that stage now but in my second month I worried so much because I felt nothing yet. Did others also feel anxious that early? The scan reassured me a lot.
In the second month the baby is tiny, just an embryo, but the heart starts beating and basic features begin forming. My doc showed the little heartbeat on the early scan around then, it was so emotional. It is roughly the size of a small bean.
When I saw that flickering heartbeat in my second month scan I just cried, it felt so real. The baby is still so small but so much is developing inside. I felt overwhelmed with love already.
