Im in my 4th month and pet has barely shown yet, kuch logo ka itna jaldi dikh jata hai. Just wondering how and when it actually grows for everyone. Is it different for each person?
Don't worry, the bump grows at its own sweet pace. My tummy only started popping out around the 5th month, and now that tiny bump is a busy toddler running around the house!
I am 18 weeks right now and barely showing, which sometimes makes me worry. Did anyone else start showing really late? I see other pregnant women with huge bumps already.
Everyone's body grows differently, some show very early and some late. Since I had gestational diabetes, I had to eat healthy meals on time, but my baby bump grew perfectly on track at its own pace.
My doctor told me that the uterus stays inside the pelvis until about 12 weeks. After that, it starts expanding upward into the abdomen, which is when the actual baby bump begins to show.
Honestly, during the first trimester, it just looked like I had a really heavy lunch. By the third trimester, it suddenly popped and looked like a watermelon! It grows slowly and then boom, you can't see your feet.
