How thick should be the endometrial thickness for conceiving?
We've been trying for almost a year and my recent scan showed my lining is on the thinner side. The doc wants to monitor it next cycle. Anyone here had thin lining issues, what number is considered good enough to conceive?
With PCOS my cycles and lining were all over the place, so I learned not to panic over one scan. My gynac tracked it across the cycle rather than judging a single reading. Trust your doctor's overall assessment, not just the number on the report.
I obsessed over my lining numbers during IVF too, I really understand the worry. My doctor was happy somewhere in the 7 to 8 mm range and above around transfer time. But please dont fix on one number alone, your specialist reads the whole picture. Sending you good wishes.
My doctor said a lining of roughly 7 mm or more around ovulation is generally considered good for implantation, with a triple line pattern being ideal. But exact targets differ per person and clinic. Your treating doctor's interpretation matters more than a fixed figure.
