How to alleviate morning sickness during pregnancy?
The nausea is hitting me so hard, im 8 weeks and can barely eat anything in the morning. Even smell of food makes me feel sick yaar. What little things helped u get through this phase?
Sour things worked for me, like a bit of nimbu or buttermilk. Amma also said avoid strong smells and oily food which trigger it. Rest helps too. If it gets too severe though, please see ur doctor, dont just suffer.
Morning sickness is a liar, it lasted all day for me lol. Crackers became my best friend and I avoided the kitchen like the plague. It does pass, usually by second tri, promise. Stock up on whatever stays down.
Same here in my early weeks, I felt so awful. What calmed me was eating tiny bits all day and ginger water. Did urs ease by 12-14 weeks? Mine did and it felt like a miracle, so hang on.
Beta a little ginger or saunf can settle the tummy, and sucking on lemon helped many in our home. Eat small and often, never let the stomach go fully empty. But if u cant keep anything down at all, tell ur doctor.
Small bites and ginger help the mild kind. But please note, if ur vomiting so much that u cant keep water or food down or feel very weak, that needs a doctor, it can lead to dehydration. I didnt ignore that and Im glad.
Oh I lived through brutal morning sickness. What helped me, keeping dry biscuits by the bed and nibbling before even getting up, small frequent bites, and sipping water slowly. Ginger and lemon water too. Hang in there, it does ease up.
