This is my first pregnancy and im in the early weeks. I keep reading scary stuff online and now im constantly tense about the baby being healthy. What things actually help, any real precautions you all took?
Oh honey, if we could 'avoid' everything, pregnancy would be like a spa vacation! Honestly, just follow the basics: take your meds, eat well, chill out. And for anything serious, just remember your gynac is your superhero. Don't try to play Dr. Google too much, it just gives you anxiety! 😂
The best way to minimize risks is really simple: take your prenatal vitamins diligently, especially folic acid even before conception. Maintain a healthy lifestyle, avoid alcohol and smoking completely, and follow your gynac's advice religiously. Regular check-ups are crucial to monitor everything. Don't stress too much, just be consistent with good habits.
Beti, sabse pehle toh mann ko shant rakho. Uparwale par bharosa rakho. Achcha khao, fresh fruits and sabziyan. Apne doctor ki har baat mano aur koi bhi dawa bina puche mat lena. Stress mat lena bilkul. Humare zamane mein toh bas ghee khate the aur sab theek rehta tha, but ab doctors jo bolen woh best hai.
This is something I'm also really curious about as we are planning a baby soon. I've heard that taking folic acid before even conceiving is very important. And of course, a healthy diet and consulting the doctor regularly from the beginning. It feels a bit scary to think about, but I hope all goes well.
Honestly, it's a huge worry for many of us, especially with backgrounds like PCOS, where we already feel a bit more vulnerable. The main things are taking your folic acid supplement even before you conceive, regular prenatal check-ups, and managing any existing conditions you have. And please, just listen to your doctor above all else. Don't overthink things you can't control.
