The acidity yaar, its killing me. Burning feeling after almost every meal and at night its worse when i lie down. Second trimester now. What all do you ladies do to keep it under control, pls share.
Eat small small meals instead of big ones, that helped me the most. Dont lie down right after eating, sit up for a bit. And avoid too spicy, oily food in evening, that was my trigger.
Beta, ghar pe try cold milk or some saunf after meals, used to give my daughter relief. Coconut water also helps. But if its really bad then ask your doc for safe medicine, dont take anything on your own.
Ufff acidity in pregnancy is the worst na. What worked for me was not keeping stomach empty, I kept biscuits near my bed. Empty stomach made my acidity n nausea both go crazy.
Few lifestyle changes help, eating slowly, smaller portions, propping up pillows at night. But honestly if it stays severe, your doctor can give you a pregnancy safe antacid. Best to ask them rather than self medicate.
I used to keep a banana and some nuts at my desk and ate every 2-3 hrs. Skipping meals made it worse. Also stopped having tea on empty stomach in morning, that helped a lot actually.
