Beta, a little cold milk or some saunf after meals used to soothe my daughter's acidity. Avoid too oily and spicy food. If it stays bad even after this, do ask your doctor for something safe.
Acidity was my constant companion yaar. Eating small meals often and not lying down right after eating helped me a lot. Also I kept dinner early and lighter, that made nights easier.
