Constipation has become so bad in second trimester, har subah it's a struggle. Thoda scared to push too hard yaar. What changes in food helped you all?
Oh dear, I totally understand how painful and frustrating this is, it really hurts. Try soaking some raisins overnight and having them in the morning, it helped me so much. Please don't strain, take care of yourself, sweetie.
Keep your mind peaceful, dear, this physical discomfort is just a temporary phase. Try drinking lukewarm water first thing in the morning and eat simple, home-cooked food. God bless you, everything will be fine.
I faced this throughout my pregnancy and even postpartum. Eating a bowl of papaya (only if fully ripe and doctor allowed!) or just a lot of green veggies and dahi daily really helped me. Stay hydrated, it makes a huge difference.
I totally understand how difficult and stressful this can be, especially after IVF when we are extra cautious about straining. Please drink lots of warm water and try eating high-fiber foods like oats and apples. Sending you so much love, take it easy.
According to my tracking app, progesterone relaxes your bowels which causes this. I tracked my daily water intake (aim for 3 liters) and added high fiber veggies to my meals, which really sorted it out. You can also ask your doctor if you need a safe stool softener.
