My mother had high bp in both her pregnancies so my doctor said i need to watch out for it. Im 20 weeks now and so far ok but a little tense about it. What did you all do to keep it in control?
I had bp issues so i learnt to take it seriously. Cutting down salty packaged food and keeping stress low helped me. But this needs close doctor monitoring, dont try to manage alone.
Gentle daily walks and some breathing helped keep me calm and steady, but only after my doc approved. Rest is just as important as movement. Dont overdo anything yaar.
My doc stressed regular bp checks, less salt, enough rest and staying active as allowed. They watch for it closely with each visit. If you ever get severe headache, swelling or blurry vision, call the gynac right away.
Managing stress at work made a real difference for me. Less salt, proper sleep and not skipping checkups. Keep a home bp record if your doc asks, easy to do.
