I am still pregnant but already worried about loose tummy skin because my bump is big. I know it may be normal but wanted to prepare. Did anything help you before or after delivery?
I struggled with this emotionally too, kept staring at my tummy. But honestly it carried a whole baby, be kind to it. Oiling, water, slow exercise when allowed, and time. It got better than I thought.
Two babies later, some looseness just stays and that's okay. What helped me, regular moisturising during pregnancy, not gaining too fast, and slowly getting back to walks after delivery. Dont expect overnight, body takes months.
I just delivered few months back and honestly some loose skin is normal, dont be hard on yourself. I oil massaged my tummy daily and kept hydrated. It does tighten slowly with time, give your body grace.
From what I'm planning, gentle core work and walking after recovery helps a lot, but only once doctor allows post delivery. Staying hydrated and steady weight gain during pregnancy also reduces it. Patience is key.
Loose skin after baby is so common, please dont stress. Massage with oil, eat well, drink water and slowly start moving once your doctor clears you. It improves over months, dont rush it.
