The morning sickness has been really bad lately, and I'm feeling constantly nauseous. Does anyone have tips on how to avoid nausea during pregnancy, or at least make it less severe?
My doctor explained that hormone surges cause this, and suggested eating small, frequent meals instead of three big ones. She also said to avoid oily or spicy foods and sip ginger tea. If the vomiting is severe and you can't keep any liquids down, please inform your gynac immediately.
What worked for me was keeping dry crackers or marie biscuits on my bedside table and eating one before even sitting up in the morning. An empty stomach makes nausea so much worse. It gets much better in the second trimester, so hang in there.
Humare yahan kehte hain ki subah uthte hi thoda dhaniya ya saunf chabane se ulti jaisa lagna band ho jata hai. Try doing that, it helps a lot. Take light meals and don't take stress, beta.
Instead of buying expensive health drinks or supplements, just stick to home remedies like lemon water and roasted chana. They are super cheap and worked best for my morning sickness. Save that money for your upcoming doctor scans and hospital registration.
Try sniffing a fresh lemon or chewing on a tiny piece of ginger when you feel pukish. But if you have severe vomiting and feel dehydrated or dizzy, don't wait at home, check with your gynac.
