Third trimester and the constipation is really troubling me, im scared it might turn into piles like it did for my sister. Is there anything that helps to prevent it before it starts? Pls share what worked for u.
Main thing is dont let yourself get constipated. Drink loads of water, eat fiber, fruits, and dont sit on the toilet straining for long. Both pregnancies this is what kept it away for me. If it still happens and bleeds, tell ur gynac.
Ugh I dealt with this and it's so uncomfortable. What helped me was warm water in the morning, soaked figs, and keeping things moving with walking. Avoid too much spicy and maida stuff. If pain or bleeding starts, dont tough it out, see the doctor.
My amma told me to eat more fiber and stay hydrated, and it really helped. Warm sitz bath also gives relief if it acts up. For anything beyond mild discomfort though, do let your gynac check, dont self treat.
Very common in pregnancy beta, dont feel bad about it. Keep your tummy clear with water and good food, walk a little daily. And if it gets painful or bleeds, your gynac can suggest a safe cream, just ask them.
Beta, the old remedy is eat soft fiber foods, soaked raisins, and plenty of water so the stool stays soft. Dont strain at all. But if there's bleeding or much pain, please show the doctor, that part is not for home remedies.
