My recent urine test showed some protein, and my doctor asked me to monitor it. I'm a bit concerned. What can I do or what changes can I make to my diet or lifestyle to try and avoid protein in my urine during pregnancy?
Just drown yourself in water (not literally!) and cut back on those salty chips. But seriously, do give a quick call to your doc to make sure your BP is fine.
I had this issue in my third trimester, but with proper diet and rest, my baby was born perfectly fine. Just make sure to follow up with your doctor and keep a track of your blood pressure.
My doctor explained that protein in urine can sometimes indicate high BP or preeclampsia. He advised reducing salt, drinking at least 3 liters of water, and checking in with your gynac immediately to get your blood pressure monitored.
I immediately consulted the lead obstetrician at my hospital when my lab reports showed protein. The hospital staff ran a complete urine culture and BP check to be absolutely sure, so please get it checked by your doctor.
I had to deliver via C-section early because of high BP and protein in my urine. Please don't ignore this, take plenty of rest and consult your doctor immediately to get it sorted.
This needs medical monitoring because it can indicate high BP. Cut down on sodium, stay hydrated, and ensure you check with your gynac immediately to get your pressure checked.
I had a trace of protein in my urine, but my gynac told me to stay well hydrated and limit salty foods. Please check with your doctor to make sure your blood pressure is in the safe range.
