How to avoid stretch marks on stomach during pregnancy?
Im in my 5th month and pet is just starting to show properly. Itching thoda ho raha hai near the sides and im scared marks aa jayenge. Koi oil ya cream jo actually worked for u guys? pls share.
Keeping the skin moisturized is the best thing you can do to prevent the severe itching and deep marks. Start applying cold-pressed coconut oil or shea butter right from the first trimester itself. Remember to drink lots of water too, skin needs hydration from inside as well.
I am in my 5th month now and my tummy has started itching like crazy. I'm so scared of getting permanent marks on my stomach, is anyone else also going through this? Gynac suggested heavy moisturizing but sometimes I feel nothing will work, did anything actually work for u guys?
After my C-section, my focus shifted completely from stretch marks to healing my scar properly. I used basic coconut oil daily which kept the skin soft and helped with the itchiness. Just be gentle around your tummy and let your body heal at its own pace.
My grandmother insisted on applying pure homemade ghee on the tummy every single day. I did that, but also checked with my doctor who suggested a simple fragrance-free lotion. It really helped calm the stretching skin, so do ask your gynac once during your next visit.
Honestly, I panicked so much when I saw my first line in the second trimester and bought three different oils. But now I feel it's just a beautiful part of our journey. Keep your skin hydrated with normal bio oil or coconut oil, but don't stress too much about them as they fade with time.
Haan na, these marks can look a bit scary in the beginning. Mere skin par toh bahut itching hoti thi, but then I started putting warm virgin coconut oil daily. It really helped soothe the skin, just try not to scratch it with your nails.
Oh god, with twins my belly looked like a giant watermelon ready to burst! No amount of expensive cream can stop genetics, trust me. Just slather on simple olive oil so you don't scratch like a bear, and accept the tiger stripes!
