My scan said fluid is a little on lower side and I am waiting to discuss with doctor. I am trying not to panic but obviously worried. Has anyone improved fluid level later in pregnancy?
Don't stress too much, fluid levels often shift and doctors handle it well. Stay hydrated, rest properly and keep your check-ups. Whatever the scan shows, your gynac will tell you exactly what to do.
Hydration and rest are the common advice for low fluid, but honestly this is one area where you should fully trust the doctor and the ultrasounds. The right step depends on your exact level and the cause, so don't go by general tips alone.
Drinking enough water genuinely helps if your fluid is low, that's the main thing my doc stressed. But this is not a DIY thing, it depends on whether it's low or high. Keep your scans regular and let the doctor guide the rest.
Please dont try to fix this on your own. Both low and high fluid need a doctor watching it, because the reason matters. Staying well hydrated helps in many cases, but go strictly by your gynac's scans and advice for this.
When my fluid was on the lower side, my doctor told me to up my water intake a lot and rest more, and it actually improved at the next scan. But she monitored it closely with ultrasounds. Fluid levels are something the doctor manages, so follow whatever yours advises for your specific reading.
