Im in my second trimester and i overthink everything, every little twinge makes me anxious. Some days i just cry for no reason. How do you all stay calm through this, would love to hear what works for you.
Honestly with work and home I couldnt do long meditation, so I kept it simple. I stopped reading scary stuff online late at night and that alone reduced half my tension. Pick a fixed time to relax and protect it.
Small things add up. Fix a sleep routine, eat regularly, and keep one hobby going just for yourself. I also kept a little journal where I wrote my worries down and somehow that lightened them. You will be fine.
First of all, feeling anxious in pregnancy is so normal, dont be hard on yourself. What helped me was talking to my husband and one close friend instead of bottling it up. Some slow breathing before sleep also calmed me down a lot.
Yaar dont stress too much, the baby feels your calm too. Cut down on googling every little symptom, that was my biggest stress source. Good sleep, light music and talking to someone you trust, that combo works.
Gentle prenatal yoga and short walks really settled my mind, but I only started after my doctor said it was okay for me. Movement plus deep breathing made a big difference. Maybe ask your gynac what is safe for you to try.
I used to sit quietly for ten minutes in the morning, just praying and feeling thankful. It gave me so much peace honestly. Whatever brings you calm, music, prayer, a walk, make small time for it daily.
My mother always told me to keep my surroundings peaceful and eat on time, and it really did keep my mood steady. Surround yourself with positive people. And if the worry feels too heavy, do mention it to your doctor, they can help.
