This is my first pregnancy and I want to do things properly from start. I work from home and sometimes sit all day, then feel guilty. What small habits helped you stay healthy?
Honestly with work I focused on basics, dont skip meals, carry fruit and nuts, take ur vitamins and short walks. You dont need anything fancy. Rest whenever body says rest.
Apart from food and rest, keeping a calm positive mind helped me a lot. Stress is not good for u or baby. Take care, stay happy and keep ur regular checkups going.
I ate lots of home food, curd, greens, fruits and drank enough water. My mother gave nice tips for energy. But for supplements and dos and donts I went with whatever my gynac said.
Walking daily helped me so much, and prenatal yoga once my gynac okayed it. Stay hydrated, eat protein and fruits. Movement kept my energy and mood up honestly.
Keep it simple, eat home cooked balanced meals, take ur prescribed folic and iron, sleep well and walk daily if doctor allows. Dont skip checkups. Thats really the whole formula.
Eating balanced and not overdoing sugar matters a lot, I learnt that the hard way with my sugar issues. Small frequent meals helped me. Definitely follow ur own doctors diet since needs differ.
