Just got my positive test and im so confused about how weeks are counted. They say week 1 starts before u even conceive na? Doesnt make sense to me. Can someone explain how to count from where?
Always go by your last menstrual period date, thats the standard. The scan later confirms the exact dating. Dont try matching it to the day you conceived, it never lines up.
I just put my last period date in the app and it counted everything for me. It starts week one from that day. Much easier than calculating by hand honestly.
This confused me too. Doctors count from the first day of your last period, not from conception. So week one is actually before you even conceive, sounds weird na. My gynac said thats how the 40 weeks are calculated.
