How to calculate delivery date for pregnancy?

I know my last period date but im so confused how to count the due date from it. Doc gave one date and an online thing gave another, slightly different. How do u all calculate it properly?

Just focus on enjoying your journey, dear. The doc will give you an estimated date after your scans and stuff. Bas positivity rakho aur apne baby ka khayal rakho. Everything will be fine, don't worry too much about the exact day.

Actually, most doctors use your Last Menstrual Period (LMP) as the starting point. They add 280 days from that date, which is roughly 40 weeks. But the most accurate way is definitely your first trimester ultrasound. Your gynac will give u a more precise EDD then.

Haan, meri saas ne toh bataya tha ki last period ka date yaad rakho, usme 9 mahine 7 din add kar do. Woh ek rough idea hota hai na. Baaki toh doctor ultrasound se confirm karte hain.

Honestly, that delivery date is mostly an estimate only, for planning leave and stuff. Your gynac will give you a date based on your LMP and initial scans. Just remember baby comes when baby wants to, haha! Be flexible with your plans.
