My cycle is a little irregular so i always get confused with the dates. The doc keeps asking my last period date and i never know if im counting right. How do u all figure this out?
Simple, the first day of ur last period is week zero. Due date is roughly 40 weeks from that. My gynac confirmed mine on the scan and it matched almost exactly.

Quick tip, just save the date ur last period started somewhere on ur phone. The gynac and every app uses that. Saves u explaining it again and again at each visit.
We always go by the last period date here, my mom told me same thing. But the early ultrasound is the most accurate, so let ur doctor confirm the weeks for u.
Doctors count from the first day of ur last period, not from conception. So note that date down. I just put it in a pregnancy app and it gave me weeks and due date automatically.
