I had IUI this cycle and now waiting for test date. I am confused if pregnancy weeks are counted from IUI day or last period. Anyone here conceived after IUI and can explain?

My doctor explained it like this, they take the IUI date roughly as ovulation, then add 2 weeks back to set the LMP equivalent. The first ultrasound usually fixes the proper due date, so dont stress about manual maths.
