My period is around 2 weeks late and test came positive yesterday. Now im totally confused how to count the weeks, from period date ya something else? pehli baar hai so no idea.
You count from the first day of your last menstrual cycle, even though you weren't technically pregnant then. Pregnancy math is weird, wait till you have to track weeks for twins!
Actually it is calculated from your LMP (last menstrual period) yaar, not the missed date. There are many online calculators, but doc's scan is the final word.
My brain is too tired to do any math right now! But back then, I learned that pregnancy is actually calculated from the first day of your last period, not the day you missed it.
