Just found out im pregnant and everyone keeps asking my due date but honestly im confused. My periods were a bit irregular so not sure from which date to count. How do you all calculate it?
They usually calculate it from the first day of your last period, adding 40 weeks. Mine was set for Nov but baby came a bit early via C-section, which was scary but recovery gets better with time and family support. Don't worry too much about the exact date, babies have their own timing!
Mine is calculated based on my last period, but my doctor says it can change slightly after the NT scan. I am in my 5th month now and keep tracking the weeks. Does the due date change a lot for others during the 20-week scan?
You just need to add 280 days to your LMP date, there are online calculators for this. I used one to plan my safe prenatal yoga and walking routines, of course only after my doc gave me the green light. Keep moving and stay active, it helps so much!
Actually even I was reading about this because we want to plan a winter baby if possible! Is it true that the first ultrasound date is different from the LMP calculation? It's so fascinating and a bit confusing honestly.
Listen, don't stress over the exact calendar date. Your gynac will calculate it during your first scan which is much more accurate anyway. Just focus on your health and rest well, the dates will manage themselves.
