How to calculate pregnancy due date from conception?
I actually know around which date conception hua because we were tracking. My gynac counts from last period but i wanted to understand it from conception side na. How do u all figure it out?
It is completely normal to feel anxious and want to know the exact date right away, I spent hours googling this! Just take your conception date and add 38 weeks to it to get a rough idea. Try not to stress over the exact day, baby will come when they are ready.
Skip the manual math and just use an online pregnancy wheel calculator. You just plug in your conception date or LMP, and it gives u the exact week and due date instantly. But remember, only about 5% of babies actually arrive on their exact due date.
I felt so overwhelmed trying to count the exact days when I first got my positive test! Honestly, just add 266 days to your conception date, or 280 days from your last period start date. It felt like a absolute miracle when my little one arrived almost exactly on that estimated date.
Since I have PCOS, my periods were always irregular and we couldn't even track the conception date properly. If u know the exact conception day, you can add 38 weeks, but the dating scan done by your gynac in the first trimester is the most accurate way. Don't rely blindly on self-calculations.
I tried calculating from my conception date too but got so confused with the math. Actually, my doctor told me they mostly count from the first day of the last period instead. Did anyone else find the app calculations totally different from what the scan says? I feel so anxious about the exact dates.
