How to calculate pregnancy expected delivery date?
I just found out I'm pregnant, and my husband and I are so excited! We're trying to figure out when our baby might arrive. How do I calculate my pregnancy's expected delivery date based on my last period? I want to have a rough idea.
Trust in God's perfect timing, the baby will come when they are ready. You can calculate it from your last period date, but just focus on keeping your mind peaceful and reading good books. God bless you.
My doctor gave me the EDD based on my ultrasound. Once I got the date, I planned my prenatal yoga and walking schedule around it, of course only after my doc gave me the green signal. It really helps to stay active as you count down the weeks!
Actually, I am still trying to conceive, but my doctor told me it's calculated from the first day of your last period. You just add 9 months and 7 days to that date. Hope this helps, fingers crossed for my journey too.
I panicked so much when my scan date and period date didn't match, I thought something was wrong! But my doctor told me it's totally normal because ovulation can happen late. Relax, it's totally normal, the doctor will give you the most accurate date in the first ultrasound.
I calculated mine using the last period date, and my gynac also confirmed it during the first scan. I ended up having a normal delivery just two days before that date! It's usually a rough estimate, so don't take the exact date too seriously.
I'm in my 2nd trimester now and I still get so confused with these calculations! My scan date is slightly different from my period date, did anyone else have this issue? It makes me a bit anxious if the baby is growing okay.
