How to calculate pregnancy when irregular periods?

My periods have always been all over the place so i genuinely have no idea about my dates. Just got a positive test and confused how to even count the weeks. How did u ladies figure it out?

I am also facing this same issue right now while trying! It is so confusing to track. I think doctor uses an early dating ultrasound rather than the last period date.

My mother told me not to worry about calendar dates so much. Your doctor will do a simple scan and give you an exact due date. Trust the medical reports more than calculations.
