Just found out im pregnant and im so eager to know when the baby will come. My periods were a bit irregular so im confused how to count properly. How did you all figure out your due date?
Take the first day of your last period, count 40 weeks forward, thats the rough due date. Both times mine was set this way then the scan fine tuned it. Babies come on their own schedule anyway.
I was confused about this too, but my gynac calculated it from my last period and then the scan adjusted it by a few days. So basically the doctor sorts it out for you at the first visit.
The common way is from your last period date, add about 40 weeks. My doctor counted from the first day of my last period. But the dating scan in early weeks gives the most accurate due date, so go by that.
