Just found out last week and its my first pregnancy so im completely new to all this. feeling happy but also a little lost about what to do and what to avoid in these early months. any tips from you mommas would mean a lot.
First three months I felt so tired and queasy, I just let myself rest a lot and stopped feeling guilty about it. Small meals helped my nausea. Be gentle with yourself, your body is doing so much quietly.
Honestly the biggest tip, dont stress too much yaar. Eat what stays down, sleep loads, take your vitamins. The tiredness eases up by month four, promise.
Take rest, eat clean, and try to stay calm and positive in these early weeks. Stress isnt good for either of you. Take your supplements, keep your checkups, and let the rest unfold gently.
If nausea hits you hard like it did me, keep dry biscuits by the bed, eat before getting up, sip water through the day. Ginger helped a little too. If you cant keep anything down at all, tell your doc, that needs attention.
Start your folic acid, eat small frequent meals for the nausea, sleep well and avoid heavy lifting. First trimester is mostly about rest and not panicking. And book your first doctor visit and scan, get on track early.
Take it easy and watch for warning signs, any bleeding, strong cramps or severe vomiting, call your doctor right away dont wait. Otherwise rest, hydrate and take your folic acid. The first trimester is delicate so play safe.
