Im 22 weeks and i get so reassured everytime i hear the heartbeat at the clinic. Is there any way to check at home between visits? sometimes the wait till next appointment feels long na.
At the clinic they use a doppler or the ultrasound to hear and measure baby's heartbeat. My gynac checked it at every visit and it was so reassuring. Home doppler gadgets exist but my doctor said dont rely on them as they can mislead and stress you.
I almost bought a home device because I overthink everything, but my gynac told me not to as I'd just scare myself if I couldnt find it. So I just trusted the clinic checks. That was much better for my anxiety.
Hearing that little heartbeat at each appointment was my favourite part honestly. I was tempted to buy a home doppler but felt nervous I'd panic. Did anyone else feel that urge to check constantly?
