I just got my first ultrasound report and it mentions a due date, but I'm curious if there's any other way to estimate or confirm the delivery date of my baby. My LMP was a bit irregular.
My app says one date, my doctor says another, and my swollen feet say 'any day now', haha! Usually they count 40 weeks from your last period start date.
They calculate it from the first day of your last period, but honestly, babies have their own schedule. My twins came weeks before my official due date anyway, so keep your hospital bag ready early!
You can use an online due date calculator using your LMP, but the dating ultrasound done in the first trimester gives the most scientifically accurate date. Trust your gynac's estimation.
