First time using a home kit and im so confused, dont know how long to wait or how to read the lines properly. One line is dark and other is thoda faint. Can someone explain how to actually read it?
Please read the instructions on the kit box very carefully, as even a faint second line can mean a positive. If you see a faint line, try to test again after two days to see if it gets darker. Be very gentle with yourself during this anxious waiting time.
Just put 2-3 drops of urine in the small well on the card and wait for 3 to 5 minutes. One line is negative and two lines mean positive. I hope you get the result you are praying for.
Haan na, test check karte waqt dhandhadahat toh bohot hoti hai! Kit pe teen boond dalna aur thodi der wait karna. Agar pink line control mark aur test mark dono pe dikhe, toh positive hai. Simple hai bilkul.
For those of us who have waited so long, staring at that test card can be so emotional. Make sure you use a reliable brand and check it exactly within the time mentioned on the packet. Sending you so much love and hoping for those beautiful two lines.
If the home test shows even a faint second line, I highly recommend calling your hospital and scheduling a proper beta-hCG blood test. When I got my faint line, I immediately contacted my hospital coordinator, and they walked me through the next steps very smoothly.
You should check it first thing in the morning using your very first urine, dear. My mother-in-law told me the morning sample is always the strongest for these tests. Two lines mean it is positive, but to be absolutely sure, we must always trust a doctor's blood test.
Most kits have a 'C' for control and 'T' for test line. The 'C' line must always appear, otherwise the kit is faulty. If the 'T' line also shows up, even if it is very light, you are pregnant. All the best to you!
I just did this a year ago and remember my hands shaking! Keep the test card on a flat surface after putting the drops, don't hold it in your hand. Read the result within 5 minutes because if you look at it after an hour, it might show a confusing evaporation line.
Don't waste time checking late in the day when your urine is diluted. Just do it early morning, set a timer for 3 minutes on your phone, and read it immediately. If it's a single line, it's negative, so don't keep staring at it expecting it to change.
I remember checking my test while my husband was waiting outside the door, such a special feeling. Just use the dropper that comes with the kit to put the exact drops in. If it's positive, you'll see those two pink lines clearly, then you can book your doctor's appointment.
