Read somewhere that women check their cervix themselves and now im curious how it even works. Im 2nd trimester. Is it something we should do at home ya better to just leave it to the gynac? bit confused honestly.
You should absolutely never try to check your cervix yourself during pregnancy. It is highly unsafe and can lead to severe infections or complications. Please let your gynecologist handle all examinations safely.
Oh god, is this even safe to do? I am in my 2nd trimester and my doctor strictly told me not to touch or put anything inside to prevent infection. Has anyone actually tried doing this at home?
Actually, please don't do this at all, yaar! It's super risky and you might accidentally introduce bacteria or cause irritation. Only your gynac should check the cervix during your hospital visits.
Please don't try to check your cervix yourself, especially during pregnancy. It carries a huge risk of introducing infections which can be dangerous. Leave these checks to your doctor during routine appointments.
Checking your cervix at home is really not safe or hygienic. Instead of worrying about that, focus on your pelvic floor strength through safe exercises like Kegels or prenatal yoga, but only if your doctor has allowed it.
