How to conceive a baby boy according to hindu mythology?
Not that i mind a girl at all, but the elders in my family keep talking about old beliefs and remedies for a boy. just curious to know what these traditions actually say. anyone heard about this from their grandmothers?
Dekho, no puja or method can decide boy or girl, that part is nature's call. People follow traditions for peace of mind, which is fine. But pinning ur heart on a boy can hurt later, a baby is a baby yaar.
I understand the family pressure behind this sometimes, but please don't put that weight on urself. No ritual changes the gender, and a healthy child is what truly blesses a home. Take care of urself first, ok.
In my joint family also there was lots of such talk and my saas suggested few things. I did them just to keep everyone happy honestly. But i had a girl and she is everyone's darling now, so these things don't really decide.
You'll hear about many rituals and pujas from elders, and faith gives comfort, i get it. But honestly whatever u pray for, just pray for a healthy happy baby. That's the real blessing in the end.
Arre if mythology could pick gender, the whole country would have figured it out by now na haha. Follow traditions for shanti if u like, but the baby decides itself. Bas healthy ho, that's all that matters.
