How to conceive after being pcos and irregular periods?
I have pcos and my cycles are all over the place, sometimes 40+ days. We've been trying since few months and its disheartening when nothing happens. Would love to hear from anyone who conceived with pcos, what worked for u?
I want to gently say, take it one step at a time. With irregular cycles knowing when you ovulate is hard, so a fertility specialist really helps, they did follicular scans for me. Some need medication to help ovulate, some need more. Be kind to yourself through it, it can take time.
I have PCOS too and conceived, so please dont lose hope. For me it was managing weight a bit, eating better and my doctor helped track ovulation since my periods were all over the place. Everyones path is different, but a good gynac who understands PCOS makes a huge difference.
Managing PCOS through lifestyle really helped my cousin conceive, regular walking and losing a little weight made her cycles more regular. Of course she did it with her doctors guidance and they tracked ovulation. Movement helps but pair it with a proper medical plan.
Hey dont stress too much, PCOS doesnt mean you cant conceive at all. Get a good gynac, sort the cycle and ovulation tracking, eat clean, and give it time. So many of us with PCOS got there, you will too.
My doctor focused on three things for me, lifestyle like balanced diet and movement to manage insulin, tracking ovulation properly, and medication if needed to trigger ovulation. PCOS makes timing tricky so dont rely on guessing. A proper gynac or fertility consult is the best starting point.
Dont stress yourself dear, plenty of women with PCOS become moms. Start with a good doctor who can guide on your cycles and weight. Stress itself can mess with periods, so try to stay calm too. You are not alone in this.
