We've decided to start trying and honestly im a little impatient, hoping it happens soon. We have a family function coming up and i was kind of hoping for good news by then. What all should we do to improve chances in a short time?
Know your ovulation days and time it around those. Healthy food, sleep, folic acid, cut smoking and alcohol both partners. It can happen fast or take a few cycles, both are normal.
We just started trying. My doctor said start folic acid, track ovulation, and dont put too much pressure on a fixed timeline. Stress can actually delay it, she told me to relax.
We were trying with a timeline too. Tracking ovulation really helped, the fertile window is the key few days each cycle. Folic acid before conceiving is also good, but honestly it can take a few months even when everything is healthy.
Sending you good wishes. Just remember it's not always in our hands by a date, and that's not a failure. Start the basics, track your cycle, and if a few months pass do talk to a doctor. Be gentle with yourself.
I'd gently say dont fix yourself to exactly two months. With my PCOS it took longer and that's okay. If your cycles are irregular, do see a gynac early, sometimes a small thing needs sorting first.
