Got diagnosed with pcos last year and my periods are all over the place, sometimes 40+ days gap. We have been trying since around 6 months now with no luck and im starting to feel low about it. Anyone here who conceived naturally with pcos, what worked for u? pls share.
My doctor said the main thing with PCOS is fixing ovulation, since that is usually the hurdle. She had me lose a little weight, manage insulin and sometimes she uses medicines to help ovulation, but only under her supervision. Definitely get a proper consult, dont self medicate.
I was just diagnosed with PCOS and we are trying, so reading this helps me a little. It feels a bit scary honestly. Did seeing a gynac early make it easier for you all?
Sending you so much love, the trying phase with PCOS can feel heavy on the heart. For me it took time and eventually some medical help. Be kind to yourself and lean on your doctor, you are not alone in this.
I have PCOS too and I know how stressful this wait is. What helped me was tracking ovulation properly and working with my gynac on it, because with PCOS the cycles can be irregular. Please dont compare your timeline to others, every PCOS body responds differently.
Along with the doctor guided treatment, regular walking really helped my cycles become a bit more regular when I had PCOS. Nothing intense, just consistent movement. But the doctor part is the main thing, lifestyle is the support.
