Bought an ovulation kit for the first time and im a bit clueless honestly. Not sure when exactly to test and when is the right time after a positive. Can someone explain how they used it?
Ovulation kits are good to find your fertile window, but if u have irregular cycles or have been trying for long, don't rely only on these. It's better to visit a doctor for a proper follicular study scan to be safe.
With my PCOS history, ovulation kits were actually very confusing because of multiple false peaks. If your periods are regular they work great, but if they are irregular, please don't get discouraged. I had to eventually consult my doctor for tracking.
Use the kit calmly and don't make it a stressful chore, trust God's timing. Test around day 12 to 16 of your cycle in the afternoon. Keep your mind peaceful and take good care of your health.
I know how stressful it is to wait for those two lines on the ovulation strip, it literally gave me so much anxiety every month. Just try to breathe and remember it's just a guide. Try having intercourse on the day of the dark line and the next day too.
Its pretty simple, you start testing a few days before your expected ovulation date, usually around day 10 of your cycle. When you see two dark lines, it means your peak fertility is in the next 24-36 hours. But definitely consult your gynac once if you face issues reading the lines.
