I was diagnosed with pcos two years back and now we really want a baby. My cycles are all over the place so i never know whats going on. Feeling a bit hopeless honestly. Any of you conceived with pcos, how did u manage it?
I conceived with PCOS so please dont lose hope. For me losing a little weight, regular exercise and a proper diet helped my cycles, plus my doctor guided ovulation. Everyones PCOS is different though, so a gynac who knows your reports is really important here.
My doc explained PCOS makes ovulation irregular so tracking is harder, but its very treatable. She worked on insulin and weight first, then helped with ovulation. Sometimes meds are given but only under the doctor. Dont self medicate, get a proper plan made.
Regular walking and the workouts my doctor okayed really helped my PCOS before I conceived, even small weight loss improved my cycles. Combine that with healthy eating and proper medical guidance. Movement honestly made a big difference for me.
I also have PCOS and just started trying, feeling a bit lost honestly. Reading these replies is comforting. I have a gynac appointment soon to make a plan. Hope it works out for all of us.
I totally understand how stressful PCOS and trying to conceive feels, I have been there. Be patient with yourself. Lifestyle changes plus the right doctor made all the difference for me. You are not alone in this, okay.
