My period is 5 days late and i picked up a kit from the medical but never used one before. Bit confused about when to do it and how to read the lines properly. Can someone tell me how u did it?

Use your first morning urine since the hormone is strongest then. Put a few drops on the strip as the instructions say and wait a couple minutes. Two lines is positive, one is negative. Best done after your period is missed for a clear result.
