My period is 4 days late and i picked up a prega news kit from the chemist today. First time im doing this so honestly im a bit nervous about doing it right. What time of day should i take it and how long to wait for the result? pls share how u all did it.
Haan it's simple na, do it early morning when urine is concentrated. If line is very light just repeat after 2 days, hormone level badh jaata hai aur line clear ho jaati. Anyway blood test se hi pakka hota hai final.
My gynac told me prega news catches hCG only after a missed period properly, before that it can show false negative. So if your period is late by a day or two and test is negative, wait a few days and redo. For full confirmation she anyway asked me to do a beta hCG blood test.
Use first morning urine, that gives the clearest line. Collect in a clean cup, put few drops in the well and wait full 5 mins. Two lines means positive even if second one is faint. Both my times I got faint line first and it was correct.
I remember my hands were shaking when I did mine, lol. One thing I felt nobody told me, dont read it after 10 mins because then a fake evaporation line can come. I checked at 5 min and got my answer.
Dont stress over it yaar, just follow the strip instructions. C line is control, T line is the test one, if both show up you're pregnant. Get a proper doctor confirmation after that and you're good.
