Everyone keeps saying alsi is healthy but im pregnant now so confused about how much and in what form. Roasted, powder ya kaise? Pls share if u took them safely.
Totally agree, ground flax seeds are super helpful for constipation. I just added one teaspoon of roasted and powdered alsi to my curd or dahi daily, and it worked beautifully without any issues.
I am in my 22nd week now and my constipation is getting so bad, so I was actually planning to start having ground flax seeds in my morning oats. But I am slightly anxious about whether they are completely safe to consume every day. Has anyone else here eaten ground flax seeds regularly during their second trimester?
Please be extremely careful and consult your gynac before adding flax seeds to your diet, especially since they can have mild hormonal effects in large quantities. Never consume raw seeds or flaxseed oil without doctor's permission. A quick check with your doctor is always the safest option for you and the baby.
I'm currently trying to conceive and was reading that flax seeds are great for healthy fats and egg quality. I usually roast them lightly and grind them into a powder to sprinkle over my salads. Is it safe to continue this same routine once I get a positive pregnancy test, or should I reduce the quantity?
Constipation with twins is a whole different level of torture, so flax seeds were my absolute best friends! I used to grind them up and sneak them into my roti dough or smoothies so I wouldn't even taste them. Just don't go eating them by the handful or you'll be spending your whole day in the loo, haha.
