My BP was high at last visit and since then I am checking at home also. The numbers make me anxious and then maybe it goes higher. I am following up with gynac, but how did others manage this stress?
BP in pregnancy is something to take seriously, I had raised BP and my doctor watched it very closely. Please dont try to manage it on your own. Regular checks, the meds your doctor gives if needed, and report any headache, swelling or blurred vision right away.
Lifestyle bits like reduced salt, rest and light activity if allowed can support, but high BP in pregnancy genuinely needs a doctor monitoring it. Please dont rely on home tips alone for this one.
Take it gently, beta. Rest well, cut down on salty and packed food, and keep your BP monitored on every visit. But the real plan must come from your doctor, please dont skip those appointments.
My gynac said less salt, enough rest, staying hydrated and not skipping checkups help, but if BP is high it often needs proper medical management. She also warned me to watch for sudden swelling or severe headache as warning signs. Follow your doctors plan exactly.
First, breathe, stress itself can push BP up, I learned that the hard way. Try to rest, limit salt, and keep calm where you can. And definitely let your gynac guide the rest, dont carry this worry alone.
