Im 6 months and my bp has been slightly on the higher side at last two checkups. Doc is monitoring it but i want to do whatever i can at home too with food and lifestyle. What worked for you ladies?
Reducing salt, resting more and staying calm can help generally, but bp during pregnancy really needs regular monitoring. Dont skip your check ups and tell your doctor the readings, they will guide what is safe.
Please be careful with bp in pregnancy, it is not something to manage only with home tips. I had high bp and my doctor monitored me closely. Do check with your gynac, high bp can be serious for both you and baby.
Honestly for bp i wouldnt rely on home remedies alone. Light walking, less salt, enough sleep and managing stress help, but your gynac should know your numbers. High bp can sneak up so keep them in the loop.
Eating less salty and processed food helped me keep things in check, plus staying hydrated. But anything related to bp in pregnancy, i would always run it past the doctor first because the stakes are high.
Beta rest, calm mind and home cooked light food always help. But blood pressure in pregnancy is delicate, dont depend only on gharelu nuskhe. Show your doctor and follow what they say, ye zaroori hai.
