My bp was slightly on the higher side at last checkup, im 26 weeks. Gynac is monitoring it but i want to do my part too with diet and lifestyle. any natural things that helped you all keep it in check?
Once my gynac approved it, gentle walks and slow breathing helped me stay calm, which is good for BP. But I never replaced doctor advice with exercise. Get cleared first, and let the doctor track your readings properly.
My doctor advised reducing salty and processed food, staying hydrated, gentle rest and managing stress to support healthy BP. But she was very clear that medication, if needed, is not optional and BP needs regular monitoring. So lifestyle helps, but always under your doctor watch.
I had BP issues in pregnancy so please hear me, high BP is serious and must be monitored by your gynac, not managed alone at home. Things like less salt, rest, staying calm and regular checkups help support it, but never skip prescribed medicine or appointments. If you ever get headache, blurry vision or sudden swelling, call the doctor right away.
