My sugar came a bit high in the recent test and gynac has asked me to watch it. Im 28 weeks and honestly a little scared, dont want it to affect the baby. For those who had this, what changes in food or routine helped you keep it in control?
My doctor said avoid sugary drinks and white carbs, and check sugar fasting plus after meals. She told me even a short walk after eating drops the numbers nicely. Dont change diet drastically without telling them though.
I was working through GD honestly. I kept boiled eggs and nuts at my desk so I didnt grab biscuits. A 10 min walk after lunch helped a lot. Stick to the readings your doc wants.
I had GD so I really get this. What helped me was small portions, cutting rice down, walking after meals and lots of veggies. But please follow your dietician and gynac exactly, they adjusted my plan based on my sugar readings.
With my PCOS history sugar control was always a worry for me. I cant promise what works for everyone, but balanced meals and movement helped me. Please keep your gynac in the loop on every reading.
