My BP is coming low and I feel dizzy when I stand up suddenly. It happened twice this week and now I am worried to go out alone. Anyone else had low BP during pregnancy?
Low BP troubled me in second pregnancy. Get up slowly from bed or chair, dont stand too fast or you'll feel dizzy. Stay hydrated, eat small frequent meals, dont skip food. But if you faint or feel really dizzy, tell ur doctor right away.
When I wasnt eating properly due to nausea my BP would drop and I'd feel woozy. Keeping a little snack handy and sipping water through the day helped me a lot. If standing makes u very dizzy please mention to gynac, dont brush it off.
My mother always made me sip salted lemon water or buttermilk when I felt faint, and it did help a bit. But I always told my doctor about the dizziness too. Eat on time, rest with feet up, and keep your gynac in the loop.
Mild low BP can be managed with hydration, regular meals and getting up slowly. But if you're feeling dizzy often, blacking out or it's getting worse, please get checked, low BP shouldnt be ignored in pregnancy. Let ur doctor monitor it.
When I was working I kept a water bottle and dry snacks at my desk so I never went empty stomach, that controlled my dips. Dont rush around or stand long. And if it's affecting you a lot, get ur gynac to check, dont just power through.
