I'm constantly needing to pee, especially at night, and it's becoming very disruptive. Does anyone have tips on how to control the frequent urge to pee during pregnancy?
It is totally normal to feel like running to the washroom every hour, dear. Just try not to hold it in as that can cause infections. Stay strong, this phase will also pass beautifully.
Honestly, my doctor explained that as the baby grows, the pressure on our bladder increases. She strictly advised me never to hold urine and suggested leaning forward while peeing to empty the bladder completely.
Actually, my tracker app suggested doing Kegel exercises daily to strengthen pelvic muscles, and it really helped control the leak. Don't cut down on water though, keep tracking your daily intake so you stay hydrated!
Oh sweetheart, I totally understand how exhausting it is to keep waking up three times every night just to pee. It feels like you can never get peaceful sleep, but trust me, your body is doing such a beautiful job preparing for your little angel.
Managing client meetings with constant washroom runs is the hardest, same here! My practical solution was planning my water intake more in the morning/afternoon and reducing it slightly 2 hours before bed.
