There are both low cost and longer term options, my doctor explained the costs clearly. Good to plan spacing early at the postnatal visit. Just ask ur gynac which fits your budget and body.
After both my deliveries my doctor discussed contraception options at the check up, there are several depending on whether u breastfeed. Dont assume breastfeeding alone protects fully. Best to sit with ur gynac and pick what suits u.
I was exclusively breastfeeding but my doctor still said dont rely on that alone for spacing. She suggested a safe option that worked with feeding. Have that gentle chat with ur gynac, they guide u kindly.
